About

Hi! I am Rosemary Bingaman, a writer, runner and mother of 3. I started this site because as a military family, we have moved a couple of times and I have found that having to start all over again and find all of the sites with information about things to do for the family can be time consuming and frustrating. My plan is to build this website into a place where military families can come to find things to do in the areas surrounding military bases. I am starting with our current station, Nellis AFB, and will be adding parent guides as quickly as possible, without compromising information, for state side Air Force Bases first. I hope to be able to expand to all military bases, but will be taking this one step at a time.

I want to provide information and feedback to parents in my blogs that is well researched and thought out. The content I provide will be quality content. If I miss posting for a couple of days, I am okay with that because I want you to have the best possible information. I will be covering a broad spectrum of topics in my posts. Before I became a stay-at-home-mom, I worked as an Emergency Medical Technician, Public Safety Officer, a government employee of the IRS, and a high profile client manager and help desk technician for a CRM company. I am an advocate of whole body wellness, self-improvement, good and balanced nutrition, and creating the spark of wonder and imagination whenever possible. I believe in going outdoors as much as possible, dabble with creativity and ingenuity in regards to crafts, baking and cooking, and love trying new things and seeing new places.

If I have missed venues in my parent guides, or you have suggestions or opportunities for improvement you’d like to share with me, I ask that you please contact me. I would love to hear from you and greatly appreciate any suggestions or constructive criticism.
